New functionalities of the CKL cost and performance accounting
The periodic activities in cost and performance accounting, such as the creation of assessments, are carried out by default according to the accounting periods defined in the financial accounting of the standard accounting periods in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
If the periodic activities are to be carried out independently of the accounting periods of the financial accounting, the "cost accounting accounting periods" can be used. Periodic activities can, for example, be carried out quarterly (cost accounting, accounting period) instead of monthly (financial accounting accounting period).
